Purpose

The Lobbyist Tracking Database is used to track lobbyist filings by state and the timeliness of filings submitted on their behalf.

With this database, you will be able to answer the following questions: (1) Which lobbyist has outstanding filings? (2) How many terminations, amendments/corrections, or registrations were done by state and for whom? (3) Who was fined? (4) For what state did the company have the most fines? (5) How timely was the company in submitting filings -- was the company late or on time?

Fields

The database includes the following 10 fields: (1) Lobbyist Name; (2) State Assigned To combo box (populated with 50 jurisdictions); (3) Type of Filing (populated with Amendment/Correction, Registration, Termination, Other); (4) Filing Deadline; (5) Date Filed; (6) Notes; (7) Document Link; (8) Fined checkbox field (9) Amount of Fine; and (10) Date Fined.

Customizable Fields: No. 1 (Lobbyist Name) above

Reports

The database includes the following six reports: (1) Pending Lobbyist Filings Report; (2) Lobbyist Filings by State; (3) State Fine Report; (4) Timeliness Report for All Filings; (5) Timely Filings Report; and (6) Late Filings Report.
